Three-step process for verifying your identity
To be able to sell with Saatchi Art (originals and or prints via Saatchi Art’s print on demand service), you will need to verify your identity by completing an automated three step process. All works will remain not for sale until this step is complete.
ID Verification occurs in Studio on the Account page. Click "Begin ID Verification" to start the process. You have 30 days from the time you start the process to complete ID Verification. Failure to complete in the allotted 30 days will result in a failed ID verification and you will be blocked from selling.
Step 1: Confirm your email address
You will be prompted to enter a 5-digit code sent to the email associated with your Saatchi Art account. Complete 2-Factor Authentication. You may request a new code. You cannot change the email in this step. If you need to change the email associated with your Saatchi Art account, go to saatchiart.com/account.
Step 2: Verify your government-issued ID
A government-issued photo ID is required to verify our identity. For users based in the United States, you must use a valid Drivers License or State ID. Due to state-by-state privacy restrictions, we cannot accept U.S. Passports as a valid ID because passports do not contain State.
You must capture your ID in the automated flow. To ensure success, please make sure your camera lens is clean, that you have proper lighting, and that the ID is in focus.
Step 3: Selfie verification
After successfully completing government-issued ID verification, you will be prompted to verify in real time that you are the person in your ID card. Please follow the steps on the screen to verify your identity. You will be asked to provide multiple angles of your face to match with the picture on your ID card. Again, make sure that your camera is not blurry and that the lighting is good.
Submission & Review
Once you have completed all steps, the system will instantly decide to approve, reject or route your verification to manual review.
For approved IDs: you can continue with setting your account to begin selling.
For rejected IDs: you will be permanently blocked from selling on Saatchi Art. Rejected IDs are rare and are generally rejected in the case that your ID is invalid, your country is not supported, or we detect fraudulent behavior.
For manual reviewed IDs: someone from our team will review your ID submission and make a decision based on what you were able to complete. Allow 2-5 business days.
