Saatchi Art will collect 50% of the artwork price advance as a non-refundable deposit before the artist starts work on the new piece. This deposit will include shipping, but please note that any applicable taxes will be calculated and added to the final invoice. If appropriate to the kind of work the artist makes, we would ask for sketches for you to approve before the artist starts making the new work. We work very closely with the artist throughout the process, including asking for work-in-progress photos, so that we can ensure the work is on track with what has been agreed at the outset. Once the artist has finished and you are satisfied with the final image, the remaining 50% (plus any customs/duties) will be paid, and we will ship the artwork to you.

Once the artist has completed the piece and you are satisfied with the final image, the remaining balance of 50%, plus any applicable taxes/duties, will be collected. We then will process the sale and ship the artwork to you!
