There is nothing worse for a collector than finding the perfect artwork, but then discovering the artist is not active and doesn't respond to an offer or a purchase!
To ensure the best experience for Saatchi art collectors, we ask that every artist who has artworks for sale takes the time and checks in in Studio 4 times a year (every 90 days) to confirm that they are still active on Saatchi Art and able to fulfil orders or respond to offers in a timely manner.
How to check in?
To check in, simply:
- Visit Artist Studio
- Review your portfolio
- Update any artworks' availability (if necessary), and lastly
- Click the 'Confirm and Check In' button, as shown below. It's quick and easy.
You should see a confirmation message flash across the top of the screen indicating that you have successfully checked in.
What happens if I don't check in?
If you fail to check in within 125 days after your last check-in date, all for sale artworks will be 'delisted' - become 'not for sale'. Your account will not be suspended and the ability to sell Open Edition prints will not be affected.
What should I do if my artworks were delisted?
If your artworks were delisted due to failure to check in on time, you should log in to the Studio, carefully review your portfolio, and make each delisted artwork for sale again.
Will a pending order be canceled if I am delisted?
No. A pending order will not be canceled after delisting and should be fulfilled as normal. Delisting does not affect artist's ability to sell, it only makes artworks not for sale.
I don't see 'Check-in' button in Studio
If you don't see the 'Check In' button in Studio, it means that at that time, you don't need to check in. Typically it will the case if you have already checked in or been delisted.
How is 'Artist Check-in' different from 'Artwork Expiration and Renewal' policy?
