The Discipline of Perseverance...
Perseverance, for me, was never a choice. It was a necessity.
Before art, I lived in a world defined by repetition, failure, and precision. As a Canadian aerial skiing athlete, I learned very early that progress is invisible — it happens quietly, through countless attempts, long before it is ever seen.
There is a moment, just before a jump, where everything becomes still. No noise. No distraction. Only focus. Only presence.
That moment stayed with me.
When I began my journey as an artist, I realized that the same discipline applied. There are no shortcuts in creating something meaningful. Every line, every texture, every composition requires patience, control, and the willingness to continue even when nothing seems to move forward.
Perseverance is not loud.
It does not seek recognition.
It is built in silence.
My work is a reflection of that process — a quiet construction of emotion, tension, and balance over time.
What I create today is not the result of a single moment of inspiration, but of years of persistence, both in motion and in stillness.
Perseverance shaped the athlete I was.
It continues to shape the artist I am.
