Since your artwork will be shipped outside of Bulgaria, in order to avoid significant delays, and possible return of your shipment you will be required to obtain specific documents.
Export documentation is only required for artwork over $1,000 USD, if your artwork is below this threshold please disregard these instructions:
Step 1: Contact the Ministry for the permission to export your artwork.

Step 2: Export declaration is required by either hiring a third party broker to create an export document or you can create a power of attorney document with DHL. The power of attorney document allows DHL to act as your broker and will create the export declaration for you.
Step 3: Once the export declaration has been created you will be required to take a photo of the artwork and send a copy of the photo, the export declaration, and the commercial invoice to BGExport.req@dhl.com.

SHIPPING DOCUMENTS
The pre-paid shipping label and paperwork you need are available to download from your Sales Dashboard in your Saatchi Art account as follows-
- Shipping label: please affix this to the outside of the packageCertificate of authenticity: for the client's records, please place this inside the package
- Declaration of art: this is a customs document required for international shipments, please give 1 copy to the courier
- Commercial invoice: another customs document required for international shipments, please give 3 copies to the courier
A few other reminders-
- Please print and prepare your shipping documents prior to the courier's arrival.
- Always use only the label and documents we have issued, as we cannot track or insure the artwork shipment otherwise.
