What types of open edition prints and frames are available?

See below for descriptions of the types of Open Edition prints (and optional frames) available for purchase through Saatchi Art.

Fine Art Prints
 
       Art Paper “Rag”
       310GSM = weight
       100% cotton = acid free
       Printed with archival pigmented inks
 
Fine art print paper has a natural white finish with a slightly structured, soft-textured surface similar to traditional watercolor or etching paper. No bleach is used for whitening. The open and absorbent surface is sealed with a matte receptive coating designed for high quality fine art and soft photographic reproduction, consistent with inkjet Giclée technology.

Optional Frame
Fine Art print frames have a width of 1 3/4” and are made of 100% real wood with a matte black or matte white enamel finish. Shatterproof plexiglass is used for safe delivery and improved UV protection. Framed prints are final sale items.


Gallery Photo Paper Prints
 
       Premium Photo Paper
       260g/m2 = weight
       10 millimeter thickness
       Luster surface
       Acid FreePrinted with archival pigmented inks
 
Gallery photo prints have a resin coated paper base with a satin luster finish. Gallery photo paper has a bright white finish with a smooth, unstructured, untextured surface. These prints are scuff and fingerprint resistant.

Optional Frame
Photo paper print frames have a width of 1 3/4” and are made of 100% real wood with a matte black or matte white enamel finish. Shatterproof plexiglass is used for safe delivery and improved UV protection. Framed prints are final sale items.


Canvas Prints

Artwork is printed on canvas stretched side to side and wrapped around four edges on a stretcher frame. To protect the print from scratches and sunlight, each canvas is coated with a UV protective layer designed specifically for our canvas and ink.

Optional Frame
Framed canvas prints come with a black wrap for a seamless look. They are gallery wrapped on 1.25” deep stretcher bars made of 100% renewable kiln-dried, knot-free, finger-jointed wood.
