It’s important to understand that there are 2 processes that artists must complete in order to get paid:
- Payment preparation - to be completed before submitting a payout request. This involves deciding on your payment option in advance--either Check, Bank wire transfer, or PayPal--and preparing to receive funds. Proper preparation ensures that your request will not be declined and that you are paid as quickly as possible.
- Request payout - to be completed after your artwork has been successfully delivered and accepted by the collector. This involves logging into your Saatchi Account and requesting payout through your Sales Dashboard.

Step 1 – If you haven’t already done so, please upload a tax form to us online through your Upload Tax Form page. Before processing your payout request, we need a fully completed tax form. We will issue payment towards the full legal name (not artist name) that is listed on the tax form we have in our records.

Step 2 – Before your funds become available in your Sales Dashboard for payout, please decide in advance which payment method you will select during your payout request. Your choices are: Check, PayPal, or Bank Wire Transfer. Note that Western Union is no longer offered as a payment option.
Step 3 – Once you’ve decided which payment option you’d like, you must also prepare to receive funds from Saatchi Art BEFORE your funds become available in your Sales Dashboard. For instructions on how to do this, please select the link that corresponds to your preferred payment method:
Once you’ve finished these steps and followed the instructions on our site, you’ll be prepared to request payout when your funds become available.
